Azimo Email Marketing

Increased email open rates to 33%.

Challenge: The CRM team were building emails using outdated brand assets and manually updating content, resulting in inefficiencies and inconsistent execution. At the same time, Azimo’s broader email programmes needed a strategic refresh to align with the new brand and better reflect customer priorities.

Solution: I partnered closely with the CRM team to understand their workflow, constraints and ideal ways of building emails. From this, I designed a modular set of brand‑aligned building blocks that enabled the team to assemble emails quickly and consistently. As part of the brand refresh, I collaborated with CRM, content and design teams to review all existing email programmes. I analysed performance data to identify the most compelling USPs and worked with the content team to create meaningful, localised graphics. I also introduced animated GIFs to increase visual impact and capture customer attention.

Results / Metrics

  • Reduced email production time through modular, reusable components that eliminated manual updates.

  • Ensured brand consistency across all CRM communications following the refresh.

  • Improved relevance and engagement by aligning content and visuals with customer‑driven USPs.

  • Enhanced visual performance with animated GIFs that increased attention and click‑through potential.

  • Delivered a scalable CRM design system that empowered the team to build high‑quality emails independently.

  • Increased email open rates to 33%.
