Baby Bhasha

Built and launched a new brand and product line

Challenge: There was a clear gap in the market for beautiful, engaging learning materials to help children (and their parents) learn Gujarati. While on maternity leave—and during a period of redundancy—I identified the lack of high‑quality, design‑led resources that made the language feel joyful, modern and accessible.

Solution: I co‑founded Baby Bhasha with my partner and, within six weeks, designed and launched a full product range. This included bespoke illustrations, a cohesive brand identity, a business plan, marketing strategy, social media presence and all creative assets required for launch. We later expanded the range to include additional products such as flashcards to support different learning styles and age groups.

Results / Metrics:

  • Built and launched a new brand and product line in just 6 weeks, from concept to market‑ready.

  • Created a distinctive visual identity that positioned Gujarati learning as modern, playful and culturally proud.

  • Developed a scalable product ecosystem, expanding from initial materials into flashcards and future learning tools.

  • Established a growing community of parents and educators seeking high‑quality Gujarati learning resources.

Really good visual cues to help out son (and myself!) learn Gujarati! What a great product and beautiful illustrations.

Epic idea! Can’t wait to get started teaching my daughter Gujarati whilst having fun! I’m telling everyone Gujarati about this product, even my friends from school!

These are such a great idea to keep the language alive and also even for the adults.
